I read this poem last spring and tried to find where to buy the book. I didn't find it until tonight. They recently released it. Click this link to hear it. I'll keep trying to get it on here, but until then you have to hear it. It is about two mommies and one little asian girl. I cried when I heard it. I hope you enjoy it too.

I love this book - I cry too when I read it. We have a long wait ahead of us but this poem expresses what I want our daughter to know about the unique combination of nature and nurture that have shaped her. I love that this book honors both her mother in China and adoptive mother... a very powerful book that I'm sure will set the stage for some very important conversations!
Hi I just found your blog off of Amy's website. We too are adopting from Kaz and waiting... We're at the embassy now... I can send you an invite to ours if you'd like - email me at ruley at tampabay.rr.com
I read this poem, but did not know it was a book. How sweet. I do hope Lana will one day fully understand her birthmother's love and sacrifice as well as ours.

I loved the poem!
