I love you because.....

These two are at the baby house with someone very important cropped out. (You'll see her later;O)

This first one is at Turkistan and the second is looking out over Almaty from Kok Tobe.

This post is for my husband. He left today and I was pretty sad to say goodbye. I'm very happy that he will be with our boys, but also very sad that Alea and I are left behind. You don't have to read this one, because it's more about me honoring my husband than anything else. I want it here, because I want it to be part of the journals of our time here. This has become a very important part to us.

We have had an incredible time together. We realized that when the kids are all grown up and have moved out, we will still be friends and will have lots of things to do together(and no, he will not be allowed to be 24/7 in his workshop!!) We will be married for 11 years on Aug. 16th!!! We've had kids for most of them and it gets really easy for me to get caught up in taking care of them and for Warren to get caught up providing for us all. We often forget to make sure the other knows that they are loved too, so we started this to help us remember. It's small, but means more than the world. It doesn't cost anything but our hearts.

Every night before we fall asleep we will not only kiss and say I love you, we will also say, "I love you because..." and fill in the blank. I have to say, in the weeks that we have been doing this, it has filled my heart so full. To be loved is incredible, to be told why you are loved every day is....I don't know, I have no words for this(and I don't often run out of words!) I look forward to this every night, and I expect to even when we're old and grey:O)

So this is for my sweetheart, I love you because......

You love God
You love our family
You love me
You are my best friend
You protect me
You're my strength when I have none
Your heart is so tender towards those less fortunate
You are loyal
You are kind
You are steadfast
You are black and white
You are a man of your word
You put up with me
You stick up for me
You are a wonderful daddy
You are handsome(I know it's not looks that count, but oh my do I love yours;O)
You love orphans
You are so strong in every way
You have an incredible work ethic to teach our children
You are adventurous
You love to travel
You love me, again:O)
You are a great provider

...and I could go on. I will continue to add to this list for the rest of my life. I know that I will never be able to exhaust the list of virtues that I see in my man, he continues to surprise me every day with who he is.

I am thankful for who God made you to be Warren, and I am so very thankful that God saw fit to make you my man. I love you and I miss you already.

MTTW,

jenn

So make me cry why dontcha!!

PS - Your niece (Hailee) broke her collar bone in karate 11 days ago. We just found out today! She's had very little pain after the initial incident - just some soreness and limited range of motion. Do I feel like a bad mommy or what!

LOVE YOU!

You're sitting here on my couch with me in the middle of hot and stinky Shymkent!!!! I know how much you love him, how much you miss him. And I have to make it worse by watching a "girl movie" like P.S. I love You with you this afternoon. :-) The two of you have so many reasons to love each other, but I think this experience we've had here, is something that is unique from what most couples experience. It's amazing the way you two have done all this together; how you've surpassed obstacle after obstacle. And your love for God, for each other and your family and friends has been what has gotten you through. I'm lucky to have gotten to spend this time with you both; your strength has been an inspiration. :-)

Hi Jenn,
It's been a week since you posted, so I'm praying for you to not be too sad and to focus on the joy ahead when you are home with Warren and your boys and Alea!!! If I could hug you now - and probably get misty with you, I would! Keith says hi too! We will see you SOON!
Love, Patty
