Look how sweet he is smiling. He's not picking on his little brother and you would never guess what is going on in that cute little body/brain of his, ha ha:O)
I was just reading a friends blog and she was making a comment about her three yr old whining. I remember the days when I thought three was going to kill me. They could talk and therefore reason with their limited 3 yr old abilities. And the whining, oh the whining....but now...10 is killing me!!!
Why didn't anyone tell me that boys have the same issues with attitude and whining and craziness that girls have when they start to go through puberty??? How did I get this far as a mom and not hear one word about it??? Is it some joke of all mothers who have gone before me, to keep this pertinent information from young mothers? Is is possibly because we would NEVER do it again if we knew before hand??
But that can't be it...if it were, I'd never have had any more children. Because seriously, there is nothing easy about childbirth or adoption as you all know.
It must just be because they forgot. After all, God made us with this innate ability to forget most of the bad after it is all over(excluding major injuries and such:O). Oh how I'm praying that I get the chance to forget all of this in the very near future!!! Until then, pray for me. Better yet, pray for my ten year old. Because he may not live until the very near future...at least that is according to his latest whine session about who knows what??? Something along the lines of "I'm just going to die(drama, drama, drama)."
No, seriously I love my boy. I just wasn't prepared for the craziness. Now I'm off to re-direct the whine:O) The world must be ending is my new favorite line:O) Have a wonderful, whine free day:O)

The reason no one tells you is because by the time they get through child raising they are brain dead.
